Buyer Guide Kids’ Luggage

Kids’ luggage, like adults’ luggage, comes in various shapes and sizes. So, how do you find a luggage set that is perfect for your child?

• Size. The most important feature to look for is size. When purchasing luggage for children, it’s important to look for a set that can be adjusted to fit the child’s growth.
• Wheels. Some luggage sets come with wheels, while others do not. Wheels make traveling much easier, but minor bumps and roughness might make them unnecessary.
• Handles. Handles also play an important part in portability. Some luggage sets have handles made of foam. Foam handles are safer for children.
• Extras. Some luggage sets come with a built-in water bottle holder. Others come with a built-in music player. Still, others are equipped with a built-in flashlight.
• Warranty. Luggage sets come with a warranty. So, make sure you know how long the warranty lasts.
• Price. Price also plays a role when buying kids’ luggage. Inexpensive luggage tends to be of lesser quality. However, if you’re on a budget, look for cheaper luggage that comes with a warranty.

How to choose Kids’ Luggage

• Size: Measure your child’s height and then measure your child’s height plus 2 inches. That’s how much space you need to fit your child’s feet.
• Material: The material of the luggage is important because your child will be pulling this bag. If it’s too heavy, your child will have a hard time pulling it. If it’s too light, it may break easily.
• Wheel: Make sure the luggage has wheels so your child can roll the bag instead of carrying it.

How to maintenance Kids’ Luggage

Maintenance of kids’ luggage is as critical as maintenance.

1. After use, first check whether the zipper of the bag is stuck, or whether the zipper teeth have problems.
2. Second, check whether the wheels are working properly.
3. Third, check whether the material is intact, and check whether the pull buckle is flexible.
4. Finally, check whether the stitches on the bag are intact.
